The Jem's Bees® All-Natural Soap is a longstanding favourite and is made with three exceptional hive ingredients: honey, beeswax, and propolis, all gathered from Jem's beehives.
This soap combines these natural bee ingredients with coconut, olive, and sunflower oils, along with molasses, witch hazel, and apple cider vinegar, creating a straightforward, effective soap that cleanses beautifully. It’s kind to sensitive skin.
The chunky block lathers generously and offers a gentle touch, free from synthetic fragrances and colourants. It has a subtle, natural scent and comes wrapped in two recyclable paper wrappers with no glue used in the packaging. Each soap block weighs approximately 125g.
Give it a try and experience the natural benefits for yourself!
A beautiful beeswax candle made by taking a mould from a family ornament. Therefore, you won't find this particular candle available on shop shelves elsewhere.
And it’s of course made using the beeswax from Jem’s apiary.
Each candle has a unique natural tone, just like the beeswax bars Jem sells. This is because Jem collects the beeswax cappings, scrapings, and pieces of broken comb, and then separates them out according to the tone. Some piles of beeswax end up being darker than others and this is because the comb is a bit older and has most likely come from the brood chamber of the hive. It is still excellent to use! Each pile of wax is then melted and filtered to get rid of any hive debris. Then, the clean wax is poured in to the handmade mould. The candle you buy might be light yellow, golden yellow, orange, or a warm brown.
Beeswax candles burn cleanly and brightly and the wax doesn't smoke.
Burn time can be around 12.5+ hours.
Each candle will be supplied in a cardboard tube.
Beeswax is incredibly versatile, with countless practical uses. These bars are crafted from surplus wax scrapings and cappings collected from the hives in Jem's apiary. The wax is carefully melted down, hand-filtered, and poured into moulds, resulting in high-quality beeswax bars. Curious about how the wax is processed? Read the blog on the Jem’s Bees website to see how Jem does it!
Since the wax is sourced from both brood boxes and honey supers, the natural colour of the bars can vary from yellow to light brown.
Bars typically weigh between 28-35g.
